SUMMARY:Let’s Go to the Fair
DESCRIPTION:Let's Go to the Fair\n\nVillage Network of Petaluma is hosting an online public program\, Let's Go to the Fair\, on Monday\, October 18 at 1:00pm.\n\n \n\nPlease register for this presentation online: click here\n\n\n\nThe Panama Pacific International Exposition of 1915 was a world's fair to celebrate the completion of the Panama Canal\, as well as\, a chance to showcase San Francisco's recovery from the 1906 earthquake. Like a Phoenix rising from the ashes of the 1906 earthquake\, San Francisco put on a grand fair. Her Power Point show will cover many more aspects of this incredible world's fair. \n\n \n\nPlease register online with the "Register for this Event" link above\, email us at info@VillageNetworkofPetaluma.org\, or call the Village office at 707-776-6055.\n\n \n\nPresenter\, Linda Loveland Reid\, is a frequent lecturer for the OLLI programs at Sonoma State and Dominican Universities She is also a painter\, theater director\, and novelist.\n\n\n\nAbout Village Network of Petaluma\n\nVillage Network is a non-profit grassroots organization empowering Petaluma-Penngrove area residents age 50+ to live independent\, vibrant and connected lives in the places we call home.
