DESCRIPTION:ATTN PETALUMA-PENNGROVE RESIDENTS\n\n \n\nWE LOVE OUR VOLUNTEERS!  \n\nThe Village Network of Petaluma (VNP) is a nonprofit membership organization led by active adults 50+ in the Petaluma-Penngrove area. We're part of a nationwide movement harnessing the wisdom of today's older adults to revolutionize the experience of aging.\n\n \n\nVolunteering with The Village Network of Petaluma provides a great opportunity to stay connected while giving back and supporting older adults in our community. We depend on more than 100 volunteers to assist with our many weekly and monthly programs. \n\n \n\nYOU ARE NEEDED!\n\nVolunteers are at the heart of our organization You can help with what interests you most  whether it's direct service helping members with everyday needs  or working "behind the scenes" to support Village operations. We especially need:\n\n	HANDY PEOPLE   help with simple jobs around the house from changing light bulbs and hanging pictures to sorting paperwork\, unpacking\, and decluttering.\n	NEWSLETTER TEAM   love to write? Help draft\, edit\, and distribute our monthly newsletter and twice-monthly e-blasts to keep members in-the-know about social and program offerings.\n	EVENTS & PROGRAMS   enjoy planning events and parties? This team helps source guest speakers for monthly educational\, social\, and cultural events that benefit every community member.\n	OFFICE SUPPORT   several opportunities including calling members\, answering emails\, and working in our database.\n\nTo learn more about volunteering for the Village\, please attend our Volunteer Intro Training on\n\nFeb. 9th from 1:00   2:30  Register Online Here\n\nFeb. 15th from 10:30   12:00 Register Online Here\n\n \n\n"I love volunteering for the Village as I have been able to customize the time I spend to my own needs.
