Bank of Marin Golf Tournament Benefiting Sunny Hills Services Returns to Meadow Club --- 20th Annual Tourney is Monday June 16th --- On Monday June 16th, Bank of Marin will hold its 20th Annual Golf Tournament to benefit Sunny Hills Services at the Meadow Club, set in the foothills of Mount Tamalpais in Fairfax. This event is recognized as one of the finest golf tournaments in the North Bay thanks to Meadow Club's exquisite and exclusive links - the first course designed in America in the 1920's by Dr. Alister MacKenzie, the British golf course architect whose course designs, on four different continents, are consistently ranked among the finest in the world. The Bank of Marin Tournament has become a summer tradition for Sunny Hills Services. It was started by Bank of Marin co-founder J. Patrick Hunt and Community Leader and Sunny Hills Services Board Member Lydia Cameron in 1994 to commemorate the upcoming 100 year anniversary of Sunny Hills Services and its far-reaching contributions to the children, youth and families of the Bay Area. To date, the Tournament has raised more than $1 million to benefit Sunny Hills' programs, designed to meet the housing, educational, mental health, and developmental needs of vulnerable children and youth. This year's guests will start their day with a barbeque lunch followed by 18 impeccable holes. Following the Tournament, guests will return to a hosted cocktail reception, followed by a delicious dinner and an auction featuring unique items, including sports memorabilia. To register for the Golf Tournament and support Sunny Hills Services, please call 415.457.3200 ext. 116 or go to events@sunnyhillsservices.org.
