Join The Spring Hill School in celebrating the north bay's newest independent middle school! They will be hosting an open house with ribbon cutting ceremony and a campus tour followed by light refreshments to mark this momentous occasion!

Our new middle school campus is evidence of what can happen when a group of committed parents, grandparents, community members, and visionary educators dream big! The Spring Hill School was founded as a preschool 44 years ago with a mission to provide a meaningful early childhood education for children with respect and integrity. In 1981 we added our Elementary campus in the historic Marin School Building, build it 1873. This year, we opened our new, state-of-the-art 5th-8th grade campus in downtown Petaluma! With one campus steeped in early Petaluma history and another representing the future of education, we couldn’t be more proud to be the only toddler - 8th grade independent school in Petaluma!

At the heart of our education is a hands on, global curriculum that fosters joyful learning and stimulates passionate engagement, innovative thinking, and creative expression. This is a place where children can ask questions, wonder, explore, and receive individualized instruction while they master their academic skills and develop a deep understanding of subject matters.
