The first in a series of Community Conversations sponsored by Santa
Rosa Junior College will be held Friday, April 5 on the SRJC Petaluma Campus. The informal gathering begins at 7:30 with a Continental breakfast followed by the meeting from 8 to 11 a.m. The college encourages students, alumni, residents, business owners, representatives of nonprofit organizations, and government leaders to share their vision for the college.“We want to involve our community in our Strategic Plan and bring everyone’s voice into our planning,” said Dr. Jane Saldaña-Talley vice-president of SRJC’s Petaluma Campus. “SRJC is coming to your
neighborhood. Please join us in these interactive sessions,” added Dr. Frank Chong, SRJC’s president/superintendent. The intent of the Community Conversations is to offer an opportunity for stakeholders to speak about future possibilities for the college and a chance to hear from new voices, said Saldaña-Talley.
